The Farnsworths

Ben and I met at our siblings wedding, my older brother is married to his older sister. But we didn't start dating until the weekend of his other sisters wedding a month later. Needless to say we're a very close family, it's a lot of fun.

I am a stay-at-home mother with our four-year-old daughter, Lorna. She is all girl, she loves pink, princesses and ballet. She's a joy and is very excited to be getting a baby brother this year for Christmas.

Along with the ROTC program Ben is in the National Guard and plans to have a civilian job as a seminary teacher for the LDS church when he graduates from USU. He loves being a student and teaching, it is his passion. Ben has enjoyed his involvement in the Army, he is proud to serve his country and we are more then willing to support him.

As a family we enjoy visiting our extended family, going to concerts/musicals, being involved in our church, reading and enjoy the outdoors. For me that means going on a nice walk in the canyon, but Ben and Lorna would prefer to go camping and fishing. As long as we're together it really doesn't matter.

The Millers

Hi, I am Deborah, my husband is Seth, my son (who just turned 2) is Jaxon and we are expecting another baby boy May 1, 2010. We are currently stationed here in Logan, Utah for the next 2 and 1/2 years.

Are you ready for this? Seth was born in Massachusetts, but grew up in Utah, I was born in Colorado but also grew up in Utah. Seth and I met online back in December of 2003, Seth was just finishing up OCS and was headed home to Utah for a months worth of leave. When Seth got home to Utah we dated for two weeks and got engaged. We were married February 2, 2004 in Louisville, Kentucky, while Seth was stationed at Fort Knox, KY for AOBC.
In May 2004 we both moved to Butzbach, Germany (Ray Barracks) for 3 years. While living in Germany Seth was deployed for 13 months to Iraq. Not long after he got home, we got pregnant and moved to Sierra Vista, AZ for 6 months so that Seth could complete the Captain's Career Course, Jaxon was also born there. When Jaxon was about 1 month old we moved to Fort RIley, KS, about 3 months later Seth was deployed again to Iraq for a 12 month tour. When Seth got home (June 2009) we moved HERE to Logan, Utah, where we purchased our first home and where we will hopefully be spending a total of 3 years.. It's been a busy, hard, adventurous and exciting 6 years.

Seth enjoys playing video/computer games, music, snowboarding, doing jobs to improve our house and most of all hanging out with me and Jaxon. I enjoy anything that sparks my creativity (i,e scrapbooking, crafts, decorating my house), fishing, camping, seeing new places, horseback riding (I had a horse for 13 years growing up), watching movies, hanging out with Jaxon everyday, being A MOM and spending time with Seth. Jaxon is such an adorable, sweet natured boy, he loves to play, learn the alphabet, watch cartoons, read books and most of all spend time with his Mom and Dad.

We are excited to be welcoming another little boy to our family in May and really enjoy living in Utah and being so close (an hour drive, to be exact) to the majority of our family. If any of you need any advice, friendship, tips or help with adjusting to the military lifestyle, feel free to ask! We'd love to help give you an idea of what it's like. The military life is HARD, but also very rewarding and exciting.

The Kimballs

John is from Layton, UT and is the 10th out of 11 kids. He has always wanted to serve in the military. I (April) am from Salem, UT and am the 4th out of 7 kids. (The middle child!) We both are attending Utah State University with about 3-4 semesters left, John in Industrial Hygiene/Public Health and I am going into Elementary Education.

We met in a country swing dance class two years ago and have been enjoying dancing with each other since! We both love the outdoors and going on adventures like rock climbing and river boarding. We have a pet rabbit named Rocky, he's a great little buddy to have around. Oh, and we currently live in a house that looks like a barn next to campus. :) So that's us in a nutshell.
